Emma has worked in the web world for over a decade and has a Masters of Science in Technical Communication. An expert in usability evaluation and research methods, Emma teaches upper-level and graduate user-centered design classes at the University of Washington in the Department of Technical Communication. She is currently working on her doctorate, with a focus on how research methods such as ethnographic studies can help inform the design of information and communication technologies.

When Emma isn’t at the cutting-edge of research and development, she loves to travel and believes you should try everything at least once.
