Karen Saville
Research Consultant
Karen believes that thoughtful, well-designed technologies can improve human experiences. She has designed interactive tools and developed content for a variety of government projects, serving the defense community and humanitarian organizations such as the United Nations and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Her recent PhD research in Human Centered Design and Engineering has given her a more holistic understanding of usability issues, and Karen’s work as an Anthro-Tech research consultant is providing an ideal opportunity to apply this knowledge.
When not caught up in dissertation research, Karen enjoys travel to faraway places and honing her (still terrible) banjo-playing skills.
